In the interests of spending more time with my wife, I am hoping many excellent people will apply for these jobs and take some research projects off her hands:
The International Rescue Committee seeks a full-time officer to support research and evaluation, across technical units including education, gender based violence, health and governance programs.
The job requires a mix of operational and research skills, and a strong knowledge of humanitarian and development issues in areas affected by armed conflict. The position will be based in NYC and start around January 1, 2011.
And two more here…
The IRC seeks 2 full-time research advisors to conduct and support research and evaluation related to
- education and other programs related to children’s outcomes; and
- response to and prevention of violence against women and girls (with a focus on impact evaluations for mental health interventions for child survivors of sexual violence in Thailand and Ethiopia)
These positions will be based in NYC or DC and are anticipated to start January 1, 2011.
One Response
As ever, I’m cursing my lack of quantitative research training!
