The slides look really interesting. I wish I were taking this class. The only [ignorable] comment I have is that I would pitch geography as “boundary conditions” rather than “initial conditions.” It may sound petty, but I think it dramatically affects one’s mental model… as well as the math.
@cblatts what do you mean by “world land mass”?
